We had the pleasure of designing The Annex, a meetings and events space for our sister brand, The New Work Project. Housed within a former foundry, the design celebrates the building's industrial heritage while introducing a refined contemporary aesthetic that feels both timeless and inviting.
In the 600-square-foot Lounge, a bold palette of rich browns and blacks combines mid-century influences with subtle maximalist touches. A vintage sofa, graphic textiles and artwork, and custom Donald Judd-inspired tables in vibrant purple create a distinctive identity, while vintage Dutch classroom chairs add a sense of character, nostalgia, and understated elegance.
